images/references to u.s. predator drone strikes on pakistan set to stevie wonder's "you haven't done nothin," and a plea for the strikes to stop.
i am a *huge* barack obama supporter, admirer, and fan. however, i am deeply troubled by the continuation - and indeed, escalation, of bush era policies vis a vis pakistan.
i am conflicted, and deeply concerned that these strikes will inspire an entire generation - or more - of people in the world who hate the u.s....because i grew up believing the very best about my country, because this country 'tis of ME, i feel compelled to beg for cessation of the attacks. i am deeply disillusioned and skeptical about many of our foreign policies, particularly those that touch upon the middle east and south asia. i want some CHANGE here. a great first step - a HUMANE step - is to stop the strikes immediately.

Can you clarify something:
Are you against Predator Drones, or are you against bombing of the Pakistan border?
These are two VERY different matters. In the same way that you look at Google Maps satellite view, the Predators give the U.S. Air Force "eyes in the sky" and allow is to OBSERVE the opposition in ways that we were never able to previously. The existence of the Predator Drones themselves is something that I support. I strongly disagree with the killing of innocent Pakistanis though.
