Star Wars: X-Wing

Star Wars: X-Wing was the first LucasArts PC game in the Star Wars universe and published in 1993. In this game, you played the role of a Rebel pilot during the spaceflight actions of the Rebellion before and during the Battle of Yavin. Here, you can see the PC MS-DOS demo version.

i remember the plain white box, floppy disks.. lol.. and i also remember losing the manual which fucked me over because I couldn't get into the game.. do you remember each planet was a code you had to use to get into the game.. lol

The PC games were awesome. LucasArts won't budge on making anything new, unless it's a crappy Battlefront version of space combat. Weak.

Shame they never got to make the Hoth expansion pack.

X-Wing was a good game, but Tie-Fighter was a superior game due to some critical enhancements. I do miss the hanger/launch sequences in the Win95 edition, though.
