WANTED: Commercial Burglar

St. Petersburg Police need the public's assistance in identifying a burglary suspect from surveillance video.

The first burglary on 8/18/11 at 3:25 a.m. was to the Five Bucks Drinkery located at 247 Central Avenue.

The suspect hid in the business while it was open and committed the burglary after closing time and when the staff had left the business. He entered a locked office area and took cash. Surveillance video shows the suspect trying to leave the restaurant.

The second burglary on 8/25/11 at 6:00 a.m. was to The Garden Restaurant and Bar located at 217 Central Avenue.

Again, the suspect hid in the business while it was open and waited for closing time to commit the burglary. Surveillance footage captured the
suspect walking around the restaurant and bar area with a back pack and a large red bag. He took a laptop from an office area and cash from the bar
area.

Detectives believe the same suspect is responsible for both burglaries due to a large tattoo on his right inner forearm. The tattoo appears to be a snake or
a dragon.

Suspect Description:
W/M, 22-35 years old, 150 lbs., brown hair, slender build, unknown tattoo on his upper left arm and a large tattoo on his right inner forearm of what may
be a snake or a dragon.
