@MrDenis965 : 'Patsy' is an American phrase for someone being blamed or taking the blame for something they didn't do, maybe to cover up for someone else. The song references Lee Harvey Oswald, the supposed assassin of John Kennedy. You can here the 1963 recording of him sayng "I'm just patsy" at 2:01 in the song.

@MrDenis965 The song makes reference to the quote by Lee Harvey Oswald the person who the Warren Commission completely blamed for shooting JFK "i'm just a patsy" is what he said. He was telling people he was set up in a bigger plot to kill the president.

@MrDenis965 The term was famously used by Lee Harvey Oswald. He was arrested for assassinating JFK and he said "I`m just a patsy" which meant that he was a fall guy and not the assassin at all.

@westlifehateclub It means a 'dupe' or 'sucker'. As I understand it, it is primarily an American term.

I don't think we really know what it means either here in england, never heard it used in slang... unless it's a welsh term.
