@governator45 Diesel fuel, also works pretty good...just look up how to un cease a head on google

btw- I found it useful to run it at nearly top speed to clean it out. those two cycle engines build up some gunk. Also pulling the baffles out of the pipes and cleaning them with gasoline is also helpful.

I owned one identical to that one in 1974. It got me through High School. I logged many miles on that little machine - and it was fast!. I also bought a helmet to match the yamaha paint job. They were fantastic little road machines. Thanks for posting the vid..Its the first time I have heard that engine sound since 1977.

Pull the heads and soak oil in the chambers. Maybe after a while it will seep in and loosen enough to get the jugs off.

got the white one too. Need to know how the fuel line is routed.. there are 2 lines. I know where one of them goes... Where does the other one go? got any suggestions or photos?

There should be two fuel lines and two oil lines. The fuel lines attach onto up right brass thread-less fittings on the carb. The oil lines attach to a barbed fitting that angles downward on the carb after the slide (in other words on the side of the carb closest to the cylinder). Hope that helps.

That helps emensly... After reading this, I went out and put them on and hooked up the tank.. It ran like a champ... It's been sitting for over 10 years and it took 3 cranks to start up.

That's awesome. They are really easy bikes to work on. It's too bad they don't make them anymore...
