  • Finally! I have been waiting for someone to upload this scene. I wore out my VHS copy when I was a kid watching this part so many times.

  • Shakespeare's Richard was a marvellous creation, but Richard III is a hero in my part of the country.

  • always awkward when your talking to Catesby and you fall off a bridge...

  • @iaingbrennan Yes i too noticed that the place looks nothing like Bosworth field, they could have chosed a better place, but i really like these old medieval films, i don't know if its just me but although today's medieval films have better acting & better special effects, i still like these old onse.

  • They didn't bother their arse when making the movie, to authenticate the location of Bosworth Field,- looks suspiciously like the South African Veldt to me, -all that dust, wrong trees, and mountains?

Still, great piece of History, though the real hero of the hour, was Oxford.

  • The real Lancastrian hero at Bosworth field was John De Vere, Earl of Oxford. He was the one who led the vanguard against Norfolk, hes the one who stayed loyal to the house of Lancaster when the Yorkists had taken complete control of England and he's the one who defeated the Yorkists in the battle of Stoke (the last battle of the wars of the roses). He's a true English hero, he's more heroic than Henry Tudor (VII) ever hoped to be.

  • Richard 3 had more men than henry tudor did at bosworth.

  • So many things would be different if rich had won at Bosworth.

    england would be catholic

no Glasgow rangers,so no derby matches

    no troubles in northern ireland

    no sunday bloody sunday

    the list goes on

  • if this is Bosworth in leicestershire ,then i'm going there for my hols.
