On Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at 10:45am MDT, the longest-lasting artistic work in human history was created. Titled Pop-Up Torah by its creator, author Richard Grossman, the Pop-Up Torah was successfully buried 300 feet deep on Mt. Princeton in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The Torah Ball is engraved with a spiral of the Ten Commandments in Hebrew by master engraver Max Erlacher.

After approximately 20 million years, as a result of natural forces like erosion and ground upheaval, this 5-inch synthetic-corundum ball, almost as hard as diamond, will emerge from the eroded peak and bear the Ten Commandments down the mountain.
