Absolutely fantastic. You make it so clear, and easy to understand. A week ago, I found some lessons on another site I thought were good... but then I go to the SECOND page after taking the VERY first lesson, and right away he's saying all these complicated terms that, frankly, scared the heck out of me. I'm like... woah, slow down!
But these videos of yours are absolutely magnificent. I can't thank you enough. For me, you've made learning theory easy, clear, and totally awesome. *salutes*

I have a mathematical background and from that point of view it's all quite easy. But seeing today's naming system makes me wonder why it was made that arbitrary and overly difficult. Am I missing something?

(transposing and different scales than major would become no-brainers). (Since I don't play piano I can't say if it would impair playing if all keys would be equal in size. But why not keeping the keys how they are today and introducing a mechanism to shift the base note around? Just an idea)
All of these videos can be applied to guitar right?

@TheGregsmitty Yes. The piano keyboard a just a very good way of expressing music theory in a visual way.
Cheers ;)

@joeplonkeeyo If you have any problems, don't hesitate to drop me a line. Also, bear in mind that theory lessons can be a bit boring but, the rewards of understanding and creating music is the reward for getting thru! Take a look at the links to other people I suggest on my profile page, esp Defsharp 11 and Justin Sandercoe. These are great teachers.

@Wretborn90 Thank you for your kind words! Words of gratitude are the only donation I need thanks! So long has people derive some benefit from my videos (and they can be slow and boring!) then I'm happy. Enjoy your journey along the music path and, if you need any help, just drop me a line.
