President Obama congratulates all of the American athletes competing in the Olympics and Paralympics this summer. These men and women have inspired us all with their hard work, determination, and their indomitable spirit as they present the best of America to the rest of the world. The President tells our Olympic and Paralympic competitors that the American people could not be prouder of them, and thanks them for reminding us that we are one people, and by working together we can achieve great things.

Hey, Barry
Just 91 days till your going away party. Go hide where voters can't see you; should help the polling numbers.
Øbama. Never again.

...as a Brit, would rather the special relationship was in the hands of Obama for four more years, then with a man that belongs to an exceedingly right wing faith grouping.

I'm an Englishman born and bred! I won't pretend to know about American policies or politics and generally, it doesn't bother me or affect my day to day life here in the UK!! But when I see Obama talk, I always feel that he's sincere.. Which I honestly have never seen in any previous american president?

Obama, Romney, einee mienee, miny moe. Neither one impresses me much. I voted for Obama in 2008, partly because I didnt want people (or myself) to think I was racist. Obama just seemed to have more determination, and drive!
