Meryl I believe is voiced after The Gabor Sisters.

Lol! I forgot all about Meryl Sheep!! I am guessing the gag is she speaks with an accent and most of Meryl's movies in the 80s had her speaking an accent (Polish, French, Danish, New Zealand/Australian, etc....).
And Don Music is the Muppet I miss the most. He was the greatest!!
