@911Some1 Isn't that such a great reaction?! It's like curiosity and fascination-- how I imagine it should be, instead of fear or disgust. I wonder whether more people think this way than I am aware of.

Hey Forest - totally agree with you that the rest of the world has to transition. I'm going through this at the moment - watching people digest and adjust. Saying that, I realise I am making a transition of sorts - from putting up and shutting up to actually being open and being myself. Thankfully! :)

@Doridantoni You are right! I got a little weirded out seeing my own face like that. I was lacking a tripod, and the space where it was shot had limited options, but I'll keep your great advice in mind, thank you!

ok, so i want to hang out w/ you, ashley AND this anonymous awesome guy...whose beard i deeply envy! i agree w/ him about conservative people. i live in cincinnati (super conservative) & have been able to navigate being trans surprisingly well, & the town where i grew up, & the nearby "city," in the heart of appalachia, well, people just accept me for me, whether they truly understand it or not. a big part of it is how you present yourself to others, & you have that down! cont...
