Hey everyone, time to celebrate. On November 14th, 2009 Argentina just celebrated its first same-sex marriage! Look it up! Soon Uruguay will join too, and Iceland, and Denmark.... etc. etc. Is this the end of the world? I hope so. I hope it's the end of the world as we know it, a world run by dumb, greedy, bible-thumping hypocrites.

Let's have a ballot measure in Texas that every person who crosses the border illegally should be shot and killed on sight.
And I'm sure that would pass easily.

The issue that many fail to realize in all of this is that in this country we should NOT let the majority whose rights are not being infringed upon vote for the rights of a minority whose rights are. I wonder what would have happened had we let all of the southern (and northern) whites vote to give blacks equal rights in the 50s & 60s. For all of the religious zealots who chose discrimination over equality, please keep your religion out of my government. You are on the wrong side of history.

Same sex marriage WILL happen in Maine and the rest of the country. (Yes, even in Texas) It"s inevitable. It may be in 2 years or in 10 years, but it WILL happen. You cannot stop progress. You cannot stop the maturation of the human race. Being open minded and progressive is to be mature. America is still sucking it's thumb, it's still looking to the bible for answers. Eventually, children discard their fairy tale books. Mankind will eventually discard the bible, the ultimate book of fairytales.

If you voted YES but have no problem with homosexual couples and civil unions I would like to have a conversation on this issue. Please contact me for a respectful dialogue on msn.
