Yes it can be very useful. You should definately look into learning it. Watch videos of "Andy Mckee" and "Eric Mongrain" n u'll see. Depends on what style you paly though.
I haven't ever been doing tapping... is there any use also for acoustic players? what do you think? I don't think so, but I may be wrong , because I can't play this technique... thanks
Too bad Justin King can't write a song worth a damn. As far as songwriting goes, Justin King has nothing on either Andy McKee and Erik Mongrain.

justin king destroys those guys hands down.
Andy mckee might have been front paged and got crazy attention but hes a watered down slow motion version of justin kings style.
