Alonso penalized for blocking Massa in Monza, 2006

In the midst of the current blocking controversy with Alonso and Hamilton, here's a clip showing Alonso being (questionably) penalized for blocking Massa during the 2006 F1 Season. The clip shows the lap incident occured and begs to question whether Alonso was unfairly penalized during this race. The stewards openly admit it's likely Alonso didn't deliberately block Massa, but was penalized just the same. Decide for yourself if Massa was blocked during this qualification lap...

@aieljose Tinfoil? Armchairs? Alonso isn't blocking Massa, it's as simple as that. If he was, then every single car would be penalised during a Grand Prix qualifying session for running several hundred yards apart.

Have you looked at any sort of evidence whatsoever aside from visuals? Didn't think so. 5 years on and still this is absolute bullshit. Massa's nowhere fucking near him! I'd let this go, were it not for the fact that it's yet another example of how everything is weighted in Ferrari's favour whenever possible (ie. without a shit car). The irony is that Fernando now profits from it! Johnny Herbert DARED to give Felipe Massa a penalty at the weekend. He'll probably be banned from Ferrari International Assistance events for life now. And this crap happened at Monza. Oh, what a shock...
