This game is suprisingly incredible once you get decent at it.I would be extremely sad not to have this in my collection and it's the reason i keep the Wii.Very underated by some media and by people that ignorantly glance over it

It essentially feels like an F-zero type racer from the N64 era but with an extra score layer and a tremendous amount of freedom

Quite easily the best racer out there

@Adropacrich2 I wish they would make another one like this. Keep the game mechanics and style, have custom building of tracks, online play with all kinds of different modes. It would be amazing. Excite-bots didn't cut it for me, I don't want bots I want vehicles. It's like they took a great thing and just abandoned it...

This game is fantastic to play especially when you play your own mp3s for the music.

An absolutely adrenaline pumping arcade experience and works even better with the Mario Kart wheel don't ask me why but it made a hell of a difference when it came to control

Excellent.The only thing i would say is it's quite twitchy at first and generally a pain to control.Just takes time really.There are three vehicle classes that also contribute to how quickly your control translates into turning or rather how fast that turning is- quick,med,slow .I tend to use slow or medium vehicles

Yes you're right that would all be particularly amazing were it to happen.I'm in the UK so wasn't able to play bots but some of the start stop design that is to interact via the mini games during racing, that was worrying and i'd rather race trucks like you say

Real shame this game didn't do all that well at retail but at least it's infinitely re-playable if you're the type that likes mastering
