Though the problem with multiplayer would be, who would you play and fight? I mean, you have the Horsemen, but there is NO creature amongst angels nor Demons that have anywhere near as strong fighters, that arent bosses.

@MatteV2 indeed, i would still play any Darksiders game if it had no multiplayer anyway, but if they did add a multiplayer component or coop than that would be pretty cool too

@EIN771 Personally I see Darksiders as a purely SP game through its awesome story. Though, if they do as the rumors say and make a fifth game with all four horsemen, then that would work nicely as co-op

@Ravage316 well another game made by THQ is coming out called space marine, and it uses the same game engine as darksiders (updated somehow) and that HAS multiplayer, so when they make darksiders 2 they might use the engine from space marine and keep the MP part.. i hope so anyway

It would please me greatly to be able to play as multiple/all of the Horsemen, perhaps with online co-op. Speaking of...does anyone know any details about gameplay? Will it be single player again? Sure hope not, at least not single player ONLY. Multiplayer for a game like this would be awesome. The sense of not truly having any help was cool in the first one, but when you're dealing with a group of four characters, it only makes sense that they'd help each other out at SOME point.

@rodney1120 it has been confirmed it will be set at the same time as when darksiders 1 takes place. u will be an other horseman

@rodney1120 Its confirmed that it will be set during Darksiders 1 because theres only 1 apocalypse. You play as a different character because War's story has already been told.

@GoiNStarcH No, it'll probably be set AFTER Darksiders 1, I mean, you find out the Charred Council was corrupt and the 7th seal was broken at the end of the game
