If you were a kid in the 1970`s, then you know all about AFX slot car racing. You know you got your Sears or Montgomery Wards Christmas catalog and then spent hours looking at the toys you wanted. The race tracks were unbelievable and you know you wanted the biggest one. Building your own track now that you`re old and stinky will at least give you a way to go back to those days and put to rest those angry moments when your Grandma would NOT buy you a race track for Christmas. : }

I was lucky enough to find a bag of 70s afx and tycopro from a thrift shop for a couple bucks a few months ago... I bought it because it had an old hotwheel car in it.. little did I know the little gems I'd acquired, now I'm hooked... Thank you for sharing this video!

I had quite a few of them. There was an old hobby shop that went out of business recently that still had some cars in the original packaging. I would love to start up again but some of the old cars I had are now worth a fortune to replace.
