  • Have you made any mods to your #1 shellplate to get it to eject .45 ACP correctly? I ordered my press from Sinclair and bought the #1 shellplate to load .45 ACP. When I got the press I noticed the manual showed #45 for 45 ACP and now I'm having issues with it ejecting completed rounds. About half hang-up and I have to manually remove them. Awesome video!

  • @crab0000 - Unfortunately, the #1 shellplate does not work as well. I've read of people polishing the entrance profile (the corners of each opening) but I haven't ever tried that. I did use a #45 for this video.

  • I dont have the bullet feeder or the case feeder, but I do have the lnl press and it sucks. Got it a few weeks ago and it always has a problem. Most of the problem is with the drive hub and the primer feed.

  • @alj79 - Perhaps I can help. The priming system works great for me once I got it dialed in. I had to align the rear-most position for the slider with the primer tube. If you haven't done that, you may need to (you adjust the black primer wire guide at the top where it attaches to the frame of the press.

What kind of issues have you had with the drive hub?

    Thanks,

    Gavin

  • Great video Gavintoobe what camera do you use for these videos?????

  • @brianjsilva1979 - For this video I used a Canon 7D, studio lighting (ambient + key + fill), and off-camera sound, syncd in post production. It takes a lot of time to do product videos this way, but I really like the camera.

  • AMAZING QUALITY! I will sub and like everything you put out. Your audio is a little low, raise it just a touch and you will have better instructional vids than the manufacturers. I have to say everyone is a critique and I am the biggest, but I love this vid.

  • Hi if I was going to buy this whole set up How much would this all cost me???

    Thanks

  • @gavintoobe how does one of these devices cost ?

  • Great video. I just purchased the L-N-L but i don't have the bullet feeder yet. I have a couple of questions. 1) Would it be possible to just purchased the feeder die and tube and manually load 20 -25 bullets? Might be cheap way till you could afford the auto version? 20) I see on the front of your press you have a bracket that holds your bullets to feed into the cases manually. Is this a home design or can it be purchaed to accomodate the small or large bins? Thank you, Eric

  • Can the bullet feeder work for eny calaber or do you need to buy a adapter

  • i have some old brass that is dirty and has been dirty for years, can i still clean and reload it?

  • ive loaded about maybe 6000 9mm on my LNL AP + Case feeder. my only dislike about the press is

1). sometimes the cases do not always slide in place the way i want it. E.g sometimes it tilts n gets stuck.

2). plate does not index fully. e.g it will be about 1mm off so i cannot prime my case. To remedy this i phyically turn it till it clicks and it lines up.

Do you have any advice on how to fix these?

  • Is it true that these Hornady bullet feeders only pickup jacketed hollow points or will they pickup regular cast bullets too?

  • Are you using the Hornady die set for 45 ACP? How do you get around the roll crimp that the seat & crimp die in the last station does? From my understanding semi-auto loads work better with a taper crimp. Thanks in advance.

  • how much does that whole set up cost with the 45 acp dies?
