@jewelofsaturn i would never buy anything expensive off of ebay. louis vuitton, gucci, prada, burberry, chanel, and a lot of others are always fake on ebay. hence the last thing i bought on ebay was a copy of Good Burger...fuck yeah!!!

Ugh, sorry you got saddled with a fake. :( I'm so nervous about fakes that I think I'm gonna stick with overstock/wholesale websites (hautelook, gilte, net-a-porter, etc) or if I use e-bay, search for obscure brands that no one gives enough of a shit to fake. I'd say most of the LV, Chanel, Prada, and Gucci items on ebay are fakes. Users need to report these sellers as much as possible. Selling fakes under the guise that they're authentic is ILLEGAL and shouldn't be tolerated on ebay.

@lillandrist You can actually find awesome deals on ebay and purchase AUTHENTIC products. You just have to be smart! Research the seller (NEVER buy from someone hosted in China, Turkey, etc), read ebay guides on how to identify legit products, and realize that if it's too good to be true it probably is.

@maxsancor if you already paid for it why throw it away i would try to trick someone and re sell it to at least get your money back. thats just buyer beware if i say so.

I have a question, I bought some Prada SPS50L sunglasses in red. It came in a good quality box, good case, it came with the card as well and I bought these in my local eyecare retail store. Everything is good but the red plastic arms are kind of fading and the cloth that came with it doesn't have that spacing between the R, I'm not sure if its fake or just a printing error, if you anyone could help me out that would be great :)

IF YOU CANT AFFORD TO GO TO THE STORE OR BUY THE PRODUCTS DIRECTLY FROM COMPANY DONT BUY IT IN THE FIRST PLACE BECAUSE I KNOW MOST OF YOU ASSHOLES GO TO EBAY AND THINK YOU ARE GETTING A GOOD DEAL WHEN IN REALITY YOU ARE JUST GETTING FUCKED OVER...SMH

@OTCgraffiti It's a question of quality, durability and value more than anything. If he'd wanted a cheap copy he probably wouldn't have paid a lot of money for it since the knock-offs can be found anywhere on the internet for a few bucks.
to be completely honsest. noones gona get out a magjnifying glass in the styreet and be like OMG ITS A FAKE< YOUR CHEAP< EURGHHH!!!

@OTCgraffiti : this was not bought on the street, it came from a Prada certified retailer, hence why I posted it, I would not expect to find any luxury good for sale on the streets that is authentic unless it was stolen.

Have you got your money back?

Yes I did get my money back and ended up buying a Louis Vuitton wallet directly from the store.

man sorry you got ripped off! I almost got tricked with a Prada wallet myself, also with a Burberry wallet. I found 80%-90% of the crap on Ebay is fake (new that is used you can find fantastic deals on barely worn products). I eventually broke down and just bought a Burberry wallet but go to the NM or Saks page and look at DG belts then search for DG belts on ebay and 90% of the items are fake as a 3 dollar bill

Yeah thats the same conclusion I came to sadly, basically anything that can be faked should not be bought on the internet. I ended up spending a bunch more money by going to a Louis Vuitton store and paying retail for a LV wallet, but at least I know its real.....
