  • I got same prob with my Samsung 225ms

...They better take it back or i will crack it

I have same problem but mines going across, horizontal

  • I think they might replace a new one for you since the difference in cost.

  • I have a similar line going horizontal from the right side to the middle of the screen on my Samsung LNT4061FX. Waiting to hear from Samsung. Can they fix this? I'm still within the 1 year warranty so I hope so.

  • no. they are gonna replace the lcd panel for you.

  • Same, but the line is white on LG 42" :|

  • same prob with my samsung, started out small (1 inch or less, vertical, thin black line). kept lengthening until it reached nearly top to bottom. is there a fix for this or is it truly "dead" pixels? anyone who knows please comment.

  • Have the same problem with my lg monitor. the line goes away 10 mins after I boot up the computer. Still under warranty. don't want them opening it up as it might not be the same again. tried udpixel but everytime i start up computer problem is there. anyone know if this line will eventually stick to the monitor permanently????

  • it is all good. they removed everthing and replaced the lcd panel inside. everthing just works fine, at least nothing happen for me for almost a month. in addition, it was a 45 mins work.

  • Oh man, that sounds like a big job. Did you get yours fixed? I am worried about reliability after opening something like this. I feel like it may never be the same.
