i think your covers would be a bit better, if everyone had a clear job:
one sings jerry's part,one layne's,so you don't get mixed up and it fits your voices!
one question: how do you get the guitar sound during the verse? i always play it with chorus and light distortion and in the chorus i hit my dist pedal ;)
didn't jerry record it with an electric sitar? that's what i read.
