Who is Loki? Here's his story...

Loki was named after the Viking God of Mischief

We adopted Loki from an adoption center here in Thousand Oaks, California in early July 2008. He was about 1 year old (same age as Sparta) when we got him and he LOVES technology! Loki spends most of his day trying to figure out how things work. He's not a fighter like Sparta is, but he can stick up for himself well enough to earn the respect of Sparta.

He warmed up really fast due to his experience with other cats. From what we were told, Loki was left at the pet shelters several times by different few families who couldn't afford his dental bills. Loki is a special needs cat with a problem with his gums. His baby teeth haven't broken through yet, so it tends to cause him pain if he's not properly medicated. It's sad, but it doesn't seem to bother him as long as we take good care of him. With us, Loki will never have to see another shelter again.

Loki and Sparta are best friends now and I'm really glad to see that. I know how much Sparta misses us when were gone on business trips, so at least he has a friend now to keep in company : )
