Guitarist Kip Haynes illustrates how to play "Crossfire" by Brandon Flowers on the electric guitar. He states that the song can be performed by beginner to intermediate level players. In the instructional video below, the guitar has a capo on the second fret. This device assists the guitarist in playing chords. In the actual song, the musician uses a twelve-string guitar. However, Haynes teaches the musical piece on an electric six-string guitar.


"Crossfire" is the first single released from the album Flamingo. The record is a debut solo venture for Brandon Flowers, who is also the lead singer of The Killers. Flowers has performed the song on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2010.

he doesnt show how to play from 3:20 to 3:23. what strings does he play when he slides up? and then when he slides back he doesnt explain them either, just plays them. help anyone?

every player should come up with their own solo. It is always improvised and usually never the same, so just play whatever you think sounds great. its pretty rude to take solos from great musicians.
