I've seen this "documentary" in full. It is totally obvious that it is just a one-sided advertising gig for coke. I wonder how much coke paid CNBC to air this blatant marketing hype. As you can see above, this trailer was uploaded by CNBCtv so they even get to advertise their movie for free on youtube. If you feel like watching a one hour commercial, The Real Story Behind The Real Thing is perfect for you.

@americanvalues08 Your comments is not factually correct. Coke's operations in Germany were continued under local leadership, but contacts with corporate hq in Atlanta were virtually broken off due to the war. It was only after the war Coca-Cola found out what had happened in Germany. Plus, one can hardly argue that it helped the German war effort or frustrated the American effort.

@americanvalues08 someone need s to tell that black guy in the suit that martin luthor king called for a boycott against coca cola, if you want the real story search on here or a torrent site for 'Mark Thomas coca cola'.
they support militia death squads assassinating union reps, they suck the water dry from communities around their bottling plants, support child labor and much more despicable acts
-
this makes me want to have coca-cola now.....
-
Fuck coca-cola.

coca cola is a big part of american culture. lol
What horrible reporting! journalism?!? E.g, Ms. Lee reports Coca Cola brought soda to american GIs fighting overseas in WWII, but doesn't report that Coca Cola continued selling soda to our enemies. As they kept bolttling in Nazi germany, they were worried about the bad PR of americans seeing Coca Cola being made for Nazis, so they changed name on plants and products to FANTA. Lee's reporting is a corporate snow job! Her only sources are Coca Cola and beverage industry representatives.
