I've taken a tiny fragment from Bach's prelude to the 4th lute suite as my starting point here.

  • What a challenging and wonderful tribute to Bach. Even more, what an exciting and difficult piece to play. So many techniques, so many sounds-you are a master. Thank you for posting this.

  • Thank you very much edster :-) I'm very pleased you enjoyed it and your kind comment is a great pleasure to receive.

    Best wishes

  • Hi Denian,

brilliant-stringent forward direction-inspired...to cut a long story short: I like your improvisation!

  • Hi Juergen,

Thank you! I did try to keep the basic idea in my head right through this one.

    All the best

  • Thanks Paul.

I don't think you should be envious, your own creativity is awesome (overused word but appropriate here).

    All the best

  • Dear Denian,

......I wont say it is not nice, because it is....but homage to JSB? It sounds more than homage to Leo Brower or his ( and mine ) favorit guitarist, Costas Cotsiolis. They are both alive and well. thank God, so an homage to them is a little premature. I only know the prelude of Bach's 4 lute suite, a true masterpiece, at least for me. Any chance to hear it from you? Or Myers, Cavatina?

  • Great...I don´t know what to say anymore....I enjoy it very much how you stay in the beat..I call it groove...while all this excursions...very very fine..

  • Dear Denian!

WOW! This is a great composition! Brilliant! (as all you do)

I haven't seen all your new video yet. I will.

I hope to play with you some day!

  • Wow Denian this is brilliant,

I love the spaciousness of this, honestly, I am envious of your ability to create something like this. It might that I have sea creatures on my mind already, but this puts me in mind of those tiny fish that live deep down where the pressure is enough to crush a man.

    Sorry mate, I am waffling.

Anyway, I love it. Favoured, not bad for a first viewing.

Thank you for posting wonderful piece

    Best wishes

    Paul
