Incidentally, I don't think the technology is bad, I'm just questioning the environmentalists' attention span. The buoys will probably threaten some unknown species of sea slug and that'll be the end of that.
Hahaha! I wonder how long it will take for other environmental wackos to claim that those aqua-buoys are bad for the environment, or ugly, or whatever... I'll give it 5 years tops. There's no stopping people-haters. They won't be satisfied until we all live in caves and eat grass.

Unfortunately, this technology is dead for the moment (March 2010). Finavera has released their FERC permits and is focused on Wind now.
