"Crabs for Christmas" from WMPT show "Crabs"

From Maryland Public TV, the Crabs for Christmas song by David DeBoy from the old Crabs Tv series from the mid 80's, this was taped before I had cable so its fuzzy

A few years ago MPT had a marathon of old Crabs shows, managed to tape most of them

Ah....yes...I have this on CD.

Speaking of "Crabs", I'm on a little mission to find another Crabs memory....back in the mid 80s, I remember hearing a song that would be played on Johnny Walker's morning drive radio show on (the now defunct) WFBR entitled (I think) "Everybody Duck, Here Comes a Snowflake". I think it came out around 1984 or so...If anyone has this (even in just an mp3), I'd love to hear it.

Wow! Thanks so much for finding, converting and posting this video. I have it hiding on a VHS tape somewhere in the basement. 6/1/09 Never fear. I have the entire series on both dvd and beta sp and one day will put it all on YouTube. Hats off to David on this and I'm so glad the credits are here so I could see the names again of the great team we had on CRABS. Thanks to David DuBoy for this hilarious Christmas season tune!

I was out of town on Christmas morning but caught you being interviewed on a Baltimore TV station via satellite on Dec 25, 2011.

It reminded me of how much my parents loved this song.

It captures not only the "Mary-Land" and the "Bal-tee-more" accent but the wish for many of us to have "crabs and a beer" Christmas. Wish it could be played more often on the radio.
