  • is it just me, or does this show scream out "communism" out loud? O.o

I liked this show since I was little, and I only had the tapes because it never came out on TV in the US. I think I can see why, I just can't describe it well enough so you can understand me. Somehow, some of the refrences and even Clandestino's horrible plots just kinda creep me out, yet they also give me flashbacks of my early childhood. O.o

    I wonder why... の.の

  • Do you mean the show is an indicement of communism or it seems to support it. If anything I'd say it's the former, it's anti-dictatorial and pro-environmental. If it's left-of-centre politically, it's definitely on the liberal side of the spectrum, I'd say the Raccoons is the same.

  • Don't you EVER close your account and remove this video. If you do, I will hunt you down and force you to put it back up.

  • Haha, don't worry. If it gets removed it'll be because of youtube.

  • You're just a bluffer, a candle snuffer,

Can't get enough of your dreams.

A huff and puffer, a pillow stuffer,

You're bound to suffer it seems.

Your head is full of schemes,

    To turn the world around.

    But all your fancy dreams

Are from the lost and found.

Are from the lost and found.

The second verse is a bit tricky to interpret or that I do have good listening ears, lol. Words sound like other words and such.

  • Do not destroy our planet, we have only one:)

  • @KlonoaKawaiiDesu Would make some sense, as Gene Deitch worked on it.

  • where can i find the lyrics for the outro of this theme song?

  • @KlonoaKawaiiDesu It looks more anti-capitalism then pro-communist to me.

  • @KlonoaKawaiiDesu I think this beautiful melodic songs reminds me listening these songs differently like on youtube. com/watch? v=o8bxKQ6MIHc

    youtube. com/watch? v=H1hH6q6-A3I

    youtube. com/watch? v=jKZ_JInEzOQ

    youtube. com/watch? v=8XL-MmhKpLg

  • @Tactual, That melody has been stored in my head for years, I couldn't remember the words or even the show's name! Only found it through literally browsing scores of old cartoon intros. And yes, it is an unusual one.

  • Doesn't anyone else think this was a bit... odd for a kids show? The meaning is obvious especially with the depressing song at the end lol but how did they think children would understand it? I watched it as a kid all I remember is the melody.

  • That is what it says

  • Trouble rebuffer, perhaps?
