La Habra Heights City council continues to live high on the Hog as Pork spending continues unabated. The City Council authorized the conversion of the room housing the citys public records archive into a private recreational room for the City Council. The city continues to incur great expense for a 40 foot storage unit (retired shipping container) that now contains public records and other important city documents. This recording was made during a rare invitation of the public (only 2 were present) in connection of interviews for the selection of a Planning Commissions alternate.
Watch as councilman Howard Vipperman (the guy with the camera phone at the table) shows concern over the publics recording of the event.
The City Council claims the City is headed towards bankruptcy unless record tax increases are assessed on residents.

This is an interview for this gentleman to go on the Planning Commission. So what's the big deal, Edwardz? This room doesn't look like the Taj Mahal. It the back room of an elementary school cafeteria, which is where our council chambers are. Most cities spend the money to have big city halls. We have frugal councilmembers who work out of an old schoolhouse. Bravo
