  • how do you prove they were fakes? You just saying "they were fakes" without any evidence is just a hollow claim. As hollow as a crazy idiot saying "the Holocaust was made up."

  • It's true. The Samurai Bushido was, as u may know, "serve your master with your life," they have to protect their generals at all costs. THAT AND the fact that when a daimyo or general dies all his subordinate officers will be in deep shit, if not straightaway disgraceful execution. In the mind of a samurai, dying in battle is far more honorable than dying like a incompetent coward who failed to protect his master.

And that my friend was the downfall of the samurai, remember, honour is always worth fighting for, but never worth dying for.

  • @osakar which brings me to how many famous Japanese commanders from the war, survived or not, can you name?

  • @osakar Or maybe simply not many famous Japanese commanders or generals served during the war, making it wholly impossible for killing them.

  • @osakar What if all the famous Japanese commanders landed first before Yi's forces mobilizing in response. After all, the Japanese focuses were mostly on domination on land. Or, simply maybe they were just on ships that didn't get sunk(even in Myeongrang battle, only 30 or something Japanese ships got sunk). Or maybe they were scooped up by other ships that were not sunk, after having their own ships sunk.

  • @osakar I guess you are right about Togo not talking about Yi, see that is an evidence, I could verify after a brief search that that was only a rumor. However, you failed to give me that before, you just said "that is not correct" Who would believe you?

My point about killing a famous person remains valid. There are many reasons why he might not have killed or captured a famous Japanese commander.

  • @kkksskkk

ya recorded in only korean text book. much damage to an army must causes many commanders' death especially in naval combats that can hardly escape. but he couldnt kill nor capture any famous japanese commanders. on the contrary he was finally killed by japan.

  • @kkksskkk

you must tell me the evidence of your point, if you insist that togo respected lee. not me. only koreans insist on that based on a shiba ryotaro's novel. what you say is a probatio diabolica.

  • @osakar If that's not respect, I don't know what is.

You are one of the most stuck up person I've ever met. Don't just say things. If you can't provide even the most elementary evidence to support your point, no one's going to ever agree with you.

  • @kkksskkk

and i know many koreans believe togo respected lee but that is not correct.
