Sorry cloudbusterman, but what the heck are you talking about? Why should Nigel Lawson seek to maximize oil demand, as far as I know he hasn't got any interest in the oil business.

Baron Blaby (aka N Lawson) is like the definitive global warminger trying to maximize oil demand and therefore its price. And that's without any thought for acid rain, acid soil, and acid sea.
If the US imports oil at his associated very very high prices, they will go bankrupt? If you want another recession, vote Blaby. But who exactly will bail the US out in "Bust 2"? Other Global Warmingers?
