@taylorisking21 The reason people hate them is their practices, not that they are bill collectors per say. At least not the mature and reasonable people. For one I understand they have a job to do, I just dislike their practices cause even the most lawful collection agency pushes the limits to the max allowed.

Most US politicians in the legislative branch used to be lawyers. Just look at the backgrounds of most politicians. They either came from law, or they came from business. And people wonder why most politicians lie through their teeth.
