Die Hard wasn't apways a mindless cheesy action movie... It used to be smart. The original was FANTASTIC

Predator is more than that though there's this man vs beast who is the better hunter sort of thing going on. If you compare it to all genre of movie sure predator isn't much plot wise, but when you look at it from the perspective of just action movies it actually stacks up pretty well. If you didn't know anything about it and sat down to watch it you would be thinking it was just a war movie and then bam some crazy dreadlocked alien is skinning people it's a nice twist really.

Oh, I completely agree, one of my favorite testosterone flicks of all time aside from the original Die Hard. But by no means will I ever try to insinuate that there was ANY kind of story in the predator series. It's hard to have meaningul story when the main antagonist doesn't even really talk.

Regardless, amazing movie, but there is ZERO story and even less character development.
