KCPS - A Day of Giving

An estimated 1,000 people received winter clothes, school supplies, books, informational literature, coats, and more during the first "A Day of Giving," on Nov. 19, 2011, at the Anderson Annex.




Kansas City Public Schools (KCPS) team members hosted the event to assist families in need and to celebrate the holiday season. Virtually all items distributed were donated, including coats through KMBZ Radio's Coats for Kids program, and handmade hats and scarves donated by KCPS team members through the "Scarves for Scholars" program (led by Susan Lanning).
