Did notice the buzz, on the E and A, but thought Gareth was just muting the strings with his palm. Sounds great.

Yep, that's the feller, the neck is cantilevered like an old Stauffer. You loosen one bolt and the whole thing comes off. The body sits in the case, the neck in the lid. It also means you can set your own action - as you can hear, Gareth had it really low.
This is the prototype, and I shall probably stick it on Ebay in the new year.
