Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on the Asus Eee PC 1201N

Playing CoD MW2 on the Asus 1201N.
Specifications: Asus 1201N, Atom 330 @ 1630 mhz, 2GB DDR Ram, ION chipset, Nvidia driver version 196.21, Windows 7 x64. Framerate shown at upper left corner by Fraps.
Asus Super Hybrid Engine at Super Perfomance Mode (~ 1630 instead of 1600 mhz). Game settings: 800x600 and all low. No other optimizations or tweaks. Maybe we can get a few more FPS after finetuning.

Call of Duty works well. This map was a bit 'heavier' than most other maps, but still well playable. It's a nice netbook suitable for gaming from time to time, although it probably won't be your main gaming device for newer games.

Was it worth installing 64 bit windows 7? Did performance increase any(in games or anything else)?

I did not notice a big perfomance increase. But the clean install of Windows 7 felt a bit faster because it had not default unused Asus software and other programs installed.

I think that would work. I haven't tried it, but I think when MW2 works that TF2 would work too.

i can play cod4 mutiplayer with shadwos on and extra textures but mw2 is poor =O

my specs (its an notebook so big diffrence u can not compare lol)

AMD Athlon II duo core 2.1ghz

ATI Mobility radeon hd 4250 (on amds website almost every laptop has this chip or 4225 or 4200 1 has an 4270)

6gb ddr3 ram =p

@AsusEEE1201n looks y have shadwos on then textures on low thats sounds stupid (no offence) u can turn shadwos off and then tourn your textures up haveing low shadows with low textures plain stupid lol XD

That doesn't mean anything... this eee PC is better than most cheap laptops for gaming.

Set the Model textures to EXTRA. you won't notice any difference. :)
