@pandirasbox I can see that. One thing I like about Justin Martyr, is he's a total prick. But he's also highly detailed, and he's held up surprisingly well. Most of these guys, it's amazing that Catholics actually claim these guys are part of their lineage.

On Angels, or Pneuma, I'm right there with ya. After Justin Martyr, is about the time it all went toward Catholicism

Justin founded a school in Rome at the same time as Valentinus. Rome at the time was a group of Ebionites run like the Sanhedrin. Valentinus came to convert them to Paul. Justin came to convert them to Simon Magus, his true master, and Cerinthus. Justin and Valentinus founded a school. The Roman church had broken off from Corinth because they hated Paul scolding them. Justin's school won out and convinced the Pope to oust Valentinus.

Pseudo-John is in fact Cerinthus and Justin Martyr. Hell for all we know Simon Peter is Simon Magus, Justin is Cerinthus, and Mark is Marcion, Cerdon is Kedron the Pope of Alexandria. LOL The parallels are many.

Justin Martyr goes against Paul to the core! His crazy ideas are found in pseudo-Pauline letters like 1-2Thessalonians, Colossians, etc.

I deplore Justin Martyr, I see him as the founder of the Catholic church and a Pseudo-gnostic who believed Jesus went into heaven, joined Jesus and Christ together, invented the ascension, etc. He is a Cerinthian and a Samaritan. He follows this stupid laughable idea of carnal resurrection and a general resurrection, and a thousand year reign of Christ. The Orthodox claim he is fallible but that it is up to the church to decide what quotes from him suit their views and use him for Orthodoxy.
