To the last poster, you my friend are fucking idiot! The wings are still attached to the breast. That is usually all that is ever taken due to the legs being to tough to eat most of the time anyway. He pulled the feet and guts out, but left the wings on the breast, so if they were to transport it, there would still be positive identification.
And of course, now, after that procedure is done, it is nearly impossible to positively identify which species and sex the dead bird is, which is why you had better have done this procedure "at home" and not "in the field" - as transporting game birds from the field without either a head and/or feathered wing still attached - is illegal in most if not all states.
