It's comming out the center shaft. If you look carefully, you can just barely see it seep out onto the kick start shaft. Look for the slight light red color.

For those who are wondering... that stange metal shape is a secial holder that I had to make to hold all of the parts in place since the sprocket was removed. Normally a drive sprocket would where that strange metal shape is.

  • don't worry, its all good, i have that too. now u have an autolubed chain. i have the same problem, i do the tranny oil change every 3000km everything is fine.

  • Yeah, I know. But it's really annoying. Especially when it keep throwing black junk on your pants when you ride it everyday.

Some day soon I'll finish my new custom, then it won't be an issue. The custom is a modified TTLX chassis with a 110cc 4 stroke 4 speed manual tranny dropped in it.

  • Yeah, I found the cause. There bearing that is inside there has a seal built into the bearing. And when it wears out, it leaks.

It's one of the unfortunate results of a 55mph moped. That bearing can't handle the force for all that long.

  • GKLJALKASJDLKASHLKAHFSLDKFJJF BOOOO...not a tranny leak u whore

  • Which is why it's called "tranny fluid leak", and not "tranny leak".
