Es Ist Ein Ros Entsprungen

This is the song I have chosen as one of the pieces I will play for the offertory this Sunday (12/21/2008), along with Savior of the Nations Come (Nun Komm Der Heiden Heiland (J.S. Bach BWV 659) at Summerville Presbyterian Church in Summerville, South Carolina. THIS IS JUST PRACTICE!

The console is built by the Dutch digital organ firm JOHANNUS, and is a hybrid digital and pipe organ done by the Ontko and Young Pipe Organ Company in Charleston, South Carolina.

I find that the organ provides good a way relieve stress. My sight reading is rusty.

To fellow organists who like to gloat at how good they are:

Don't leave a comment if it's not in the least bit constructive! I am NOT professionally trained on the organ, and I am very rusty with sight reading. The whole purpose of my playing is for practicing, and my reason for posting even with mistakes is so that I can learn more from people who have expertise in the art of organ performance.
