quick question, i have a digital mixer, and planning on getting this digital preamp to improve my signal, and also to used it as the master clock, so what would be better, to monitor Through this the preamp, or the mixer when I'm tracking vocals, keeping in mind that i do track using cue mixes?

just got mine and love it

so what happens if I plug in a Focusrite One not digital into my sound card? worse sound quality or what=?
-
is this the same pre as the isa 430? also witch pre is better avalon 737 or isa 430 or 220 etc, for rap vocals like EG Nas, AZ, Kanye west, jay z thanks

@bumpyheadman I love it!!! I record mostly Hip Hop at my studio. Very happy that I went with this Preamp!

This Preamp Is The Truth.......

@Lennylyrical I own one of these. It works too well. It made Shure SM7B go from quiet and flat to sounding crystal clear and almost perfect.

This sucks, I hear lots of instruments, post-production, compression, reverb, so it's not really a trustworthy video for this pre-amp.
CAN I CONNECT THAT TO MY TASCAM DP-02 DIGITAL RECORDER?

@AndresRomeroBlog You can connect this to any audio device that has line, or digital inputs. You could connect the analogue output on the ISA to an analogue input on your recorder.

what difference is between focusrite voicemaster pro with digital card at 48 k and this isa one also at 48 k...or both at 96k??

@ecstasy1982original The ISA range use high quality transformers and a high quality analogue signal path to obtain a warm but transparent sound. The VoiceMaster Pro features more signal processing options with compression, EQ, d-essing etc. on board but uses op-amps for a clean but less characteristic sound.

if i connect this preamp and my DAW with lightcable (ISA optical adat out --> DAW optical in).... is it possible to hear the latency? ...or built-in ADC bus is zero-latency?
and can i record Di and mic separately in adat (1channel - mic. 2 channel- guit...or channels mixed in one channel?

@anartio Any latency incurred by the conversion in the ISA One Digital will be negligible but you should bear in mind that you may incur latency in your DAW as the audio must be buffered to send down a bus to the CPU.
If you use the ADAT output you can have a separate guitar and microphone channel - they will not be mixed together.
