I'm thinking of doing a "Dante/Nero Basics/Advanced Strategies" video, since I received a few requests asking general questions like "how do you get better at DMC". I've done a few takes of it but I find myself saying "Um" too much so I'm going to do a few more retakes until I tone that down. It's not gonna be anything fancy - you'll be listening to me ramble quite often, but i think I'll be able to help you guys out. :)

Plus, I upgraded my Fraps and now don't have to worry about using my old method to get my microphone to record along with the ingame sound. The latest Fraps looks really nice, but the registration fee is still quite expensive.

Also, I took DMC4 to Kawaii-Kon, but not too many people were watching me play. They were distracted by the Super Smash tourney nearby me. Seems a lot of people played this game casually and stopped after they beat it once. :(

  • Is Dante the only char who gets his theme change in LDK, or did you change it?

  • @600greenknight1 I changed it so it applies to both Nero and Dante. Very simple workaround, just replacing a few files.

  • ce mec est singler loool

  • What I would give for a LDK mode on the console.

  • Have you ever played DMC 4 Refrain for iphone/ipod/ipad?

  • About the "Dante/Nero Basics/Advanced Strategies" video. Why don't you just think about a move you want to do, do the move (so make a clip of around 30 seconds of the move). Slow it down with slowmotion effects and then write down what you want to say and say what you have written down... Should make it pretty easy.. wouldn't it? I never done anything like it, but that would be my first approach, maybe it helps.

  • @Keirnoth It's not a gaming rig by any stretch. My MacBook Pro 13" runs WinXP under Bootcamp. It's almost exactly a year old, but I think these are still the specs: apple (dot) com (slash) macbookpro (slash) specs-13inch (dot) html

I got DMC3 off of Steam and it runs but the lack of rumble support annoys me to no end. I've been playing DMC(1) under PCSX2 on it though and that runs at about ... 90 percent of optimal. I just played the second Griffon fight and it was chugging.

  • @boradis What are your specs? I was running DMC4 at full framerate on a 8800GT with max quality settings and 1280 x 720 resolution on a high end P4.

When in doubt, you can always put on the YARRR eyepatch and try it out to evaluate performance.

  • @boradis Portal 2 is heavier on the processor but DMC4 is a bit heavier for the graphics cards (according to google system req for both)... You know best what your computer has so, good luck with it!

  • @lnmylife Maybe I ought to recheck the game specs then. It does chug when I play Portal 2 though.
