So the authorities probably know and have helped in the destruction of the evidence. This might explain why the McCanns can appear untroubled in their frequent requests.

Perhaps the public noted the police investigate or look in some areas, it's now a case of investigating even the police departments assigned to this job. This mioght be a large scale cover - up, perhaps it should become an election issue for Britain and Portugal, this might press them towards the truth which the majority suspect
