  • I have a YZ 125 and everytime i go for a jump that is 3 gear or higher and i hit it my front tire always drops and i land front tire first.I always have to down shift to a higher rpm so my front end dosent drop...what am I doing wrong??

  • are you letting go of the throttle right before the edge of the jump?

  • No, I am holding the gas wide open all the way up the lip...and i still nosedive...at the motocross track I ride on there is a long straitaway and there is a table top but I nosedive everytime I hit it...what do you think im doing wrong??

  • look i'm no expert , I'm NOT the guy in this video..

  • I tried that basic jumping technique but it didnt start tipping forward after that.. am i doing it wrong ?

  • What bike do you ride , 65cc and 85cc mostly don't always tip forward , Tap your rear break to Bring your front down when your in the air , and remember to not let off the gas going on the jump.

  • @yz125dirtrider hold it not quite wide open so that you have something extra to give at the lip to pick the nose up

  • @yz125dirtrider I have a 125 too and i do the same thing unless im in the power band, and im not saying to hit the jump faster and overjump it, just try to stay in a gear that you will be in the powerband when your going off the jump.

  • @yz125dirtrider you are going to slow .... i had the same problem

  • @yz125dirtrider Ok, I know I am really late to try and help you with this, but you need to be leaning back on the bike. I like to lean over the rear fender.

  • @yz125dirtrider You are sitting too far back, your rear shock is sprining your rear up....

  • @seeker292 Wow that comment was from a year ago. You just made me think back to what I was like a year ago. So thanks i guess

  • @pastranarules199 agreed totally helps me oujt and im not that good but certainly not bad

  • Thanks for the tips!

  • I had the same problem, but as ouchmybrain7 says, you youst adjust it a bit higher, and do it before your going out riding again, i almost fucked up the axel because i would "hang" on it.

  • me to im going to get a longer one i think that will help me outalittle
