I like how Tom Hanks calls Mormons unAmerican but on Saving Private Ryan theres guys holding BARs, Browning Aircooled 30 Cal machine guns, and there is also Colt Pistol in his holster. Just a couple of inventions that saved alot of U.S. soldiers in WW1 through today whos inventor John Browning who happend to be guess what a Mormon!

@naomi1800 check my post again. My post was not referring to prop 8 as to the churches who supported it the most. my post was referring to ohio where protestant groups. I wasn't talking about prop 8 support, but ohio's defense of marraige laws

@bigogre645886 um im mormon and im just saying that we were on of the biggest supporters for prop 8. i get what your saying about people not attacking the other churches and thats just how satan works. tries to destroy the true church. so why would he waste his time destroying churches that already destroy people and aren't true???

please stop referring to the lds church in such a negative manner, we have not attacked whatever you believe in, and I ask that you have the decency to respect ours. I am not from utah, i do not live in utah nor have I ever lived in utah. I have grown up in both california and ohio, and by the way, ohio has a stricter law in place than california. and do you know who supported it the most? Protestant churches such as the lutherans and the methodists, but you aren't attacking them.

Divinity does not cloud my judgement. I do not condemn gays, but I do not sanction their actions either, I find what they do repulsive, just as I would a number of other actions that many people take including fornication outside of marriage. do I condemn these people? no. however I will not condone actions that I believe will lead to the destruction of the family, and by so doing(because the family is the central unit of every society) the destruction of our society.
