The Nebraska City team beat Falls City in the first round of the Area Tournament, fell to Beatrice, then battled back for wins ove The Nebraska City team beat Falls City in the first round of the Area Tournament, fell to Beatrice, then battled back for wins over Auburn and Hickman to reach the Tuesday rematch with the two-time defending Class B State Champions.

Looking at the season as a whole, Frields said he was pleased with the team's performance, especially in light of pre-season uncertainty that cast doubt over whether Nebraska City would field a Seniors team.

As it turned out, Nebraska City had some players either reconsider notions against playing or came out unexpectedly.




"We wound up having a great bunch of young men," Frields said.

i played on the beatrice team that was the 2 time defending champs before this video and neb city sucks always have and always will they will never be what beatrice baseball is and that is great
