The New Horizons perform a cover of the Ray Thomas-penned Moody Blues classic "For My Lady".

About this recording:
We recorded this home-studio project utilizing 16 tracks on an Alesis ADAT digital recorder. Mike sang the vocals and played Roland and Yamaha keyboards as well as Pearl and Zildjian percussion. Steve played a Taylor 6-string acoustic guitar (finger-picking style, double-tracked) and a Danelectro bass guitar. The tracks were mixed in stereo utilizing Mackie equipment with Lexicon effects units.

I was browsing through Moody Blues covers and came across this gem. All I have to say is WOW!!! You guys did an awesome job on this especially since you played all the instruments yourselves ( I cant stand kareoke or sing-along-with-the-record versions). Your rendition comes very close to matching the beauty and magnificence of the original. The singer has a voice that fits this sing well also. I would give this 6 stars if I could!
