Dream Theater - Two Far featuring vocals from Chris Collins who was in the band until 1986.
This song is from the CD accompanying the original Lifting Shadows publication.

Lyrics By Kevin Moore

Reaching
Too far away
Distance control
No contact today
Waiting
Empty again
Leaving me here
Is there no end?
Transcend!
Wait for me
Can't you see it's only time?
Here for you
Hearts combined can only climb
Distance
Emotions on trial
We close our eyes
transcending miles...
Wait for me
Can't you see it's only time?
Here for you
Hearts combined can only climb
Wait for me
Pour your heart inside of mine
Here for you
Love must stand this test of time.

  • the intro is so awesome

  • lol this is insane. I appreciate it, but it is way too complicated for me. It sounds like they just played anything that they were capable of playing and threw it all together into one.

  • Thank you so much Dream Theater for posting this.........Gave me chills to hear it..........Great job on the remix.........You guys are amazing...........

  • Sweet never heard this Kevin Moore is on fire!

  • @MyMytalMajesty i wish they kept this style this is amazing

  • Chris Collings sings in Winter Spell.

  • @MyMytalMajesty That would have been a good thing. I like this style. I thought When Dream and Day...was a great album. It's a shame really

  • @MyMytalMajesty Ummmm.....probably the same. They just changed the name because of copyright issues, nothing more.

  • @jimkane66 If I'm thinking right, they were probably 18 or 19 at this point. it was 85, 86 that they did this. Especially with Chris Collins on Vocals. He was pretty good. I don't see him with any other bands though, disappointing.

  • Actually they were in their early 20's.
