WARNING: this is a pretty boring video. It is just a demo of using a 555 timer (in this case a dual 555, the 556) to listen for a trigger, then turn an LED on for 20 seconds by activating a 2222 transistor. After some jiggly camera work, I switch out the initial 100K resistor for one totaling 700K. After that, the 556 watches for the trigger (in this case me bringing the trigger LOW by connecting it to ground), then turns the LED on for 2:45, then powers it off.
