The most unintentionally funny "Very Special Episode" ever. That's not a knock on the actors, who are very good. That's not a knock on Suzi Quatro, who has a great set of pipes. But it's just so cheesy, exploitative and dumb. Plot summary: Richie is in a coma so Fonzie can cry, Leather Tuscadero sings a song that sounds way more like the late '70s than the late '50s.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that girl who played the piano. Boy she really didn't fit this show, her style looked too 70's for a show about the 50's and 60's.
I have to agree with some people who talked about this show. It was pretty good in the beginning, but it did jump the shark and badly. Case in point this show actually invented that term. However ,I still think this show is better then sitcoms today.
I loved this show. Fonzi was the star but the show went downhill after richie left. What drove me crazy was the fact that they tried to replace him with a brainy little schoolboy. There was a gap that no person could fill except ron howard
I could not agree more. I am not bashing "family TV", but Happy Days became a parody of itself. It was simply awful by this point at time. The writers has made the character of Fonzie into a joke and the rest of the characters into silly caricatures that somehow we were supposed to care about. To say this show "Jumped the Shark" is an understatement. The first couple years were so good, but subsequent to that....not so much.
